I love this new set from the new catalog, hope you like the card I created with it. I love the paper piecing technique and I used it here to create the balloons with Rose Red DSP. Blooming with Love

Happy Tuesday, and it is the color combination challenge over at SCS. I love the colors for today's challenge: Soft Sky, Blue Bayou, Real Red.
I designed this card for a convention swap that I have been working on. Since I had all the supplies out for stamping this design, all I had to do was to change the colors for today's challenge. The technique is paper piecing and it is perfect for the flower pots in this stamp set. If you are attending the SU! Convention, please do not use this card design.

RECIPE:
Stamps: Blooming with Love
Paper: Soft Sky, Blue Bayou, Real Red, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black
Access: SU! Markers, Silver Brads, Blue Bayou Ribbon, Dimensional Adhesive
Tools: Ticket Corner Punch, 1/16" Hole Punch

Color, Color...Snip, Snip...

Color Combinations and Ways to Use It all in one card
I designed this card for the color challenge using Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink and Chocolate Chip for my colors. The Ways to Use It Challenge was to use scissors in a way you normally wouldn't. So I took the scalloped circle punch and punched it out from textured pretty in pink cardstock. Taking my scissors, I cut away every other petal from the punch-out. When you are done you have this pretty flower. I used the 1/2" circle punch for the center. This was shared by Tammy for the 3 minute demo at the downline meeting last week.

RECIPE:

Stamps: Priceless, For A Friend

Ink: Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip
