I have returned from an amazing time at Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah. Over the next few days I will be posting and sharing swaps, gifts and more from Convention 2014.
Each year I like to bring gifts for my upline, first level downline, levels 2 - 5 and special friends.  I try to give handmade things and sometimes a few altered items as well.  This year their gifts included a variety of items.

Swapping with the GoDiva's Stamping Group

The day began at the Convention Center to pick up the Convention T-shirt and to do some swapping. Don't you think it is a great way to start the day?

Early afternoon brought swapping with the GoDiva's Stamping Group.  I am so honored to be a part of this unique group of talented stampers headed by my friend, Robin Merriman.

Treat Holder for Swap

I joined an organized swap for Leadership hosted by Laura Fernsler, "Big Shot Treat Holder".  I am using the Clear Oval Accent Die to create my project.

I made it to resemble a cookie jar, so inside I put mini chocolate chip cookies and a tea bag, used a velcro fastener to keep it closed.

Back to Life After Convention!

I have returned safely, along with all my bags, swaps, and dirty laundry......after being away for 6 wonderful days at the annual Stampin' Up! Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah. Thanks to all the wonderful gals in my group for an awesome time and many memories.

Today I want to share with you the 3D swaps I made for general floor swapping at Convention.

Stampin' Up! Convention Swaps - part three

Hello Again......glad that you have stopped in. Today I will share with you the 3-D swaps I made for general swapping at convention. I didn't make very many of these type of swaps, but I wanted to have some to swap just in case I saw others swapping 3-D items.

Below: Refrigerator Magnets using the Big Shot and Flower Layers #3 Die to form layered flowers with Build-a-Brad centers and a small magnet on the back. Some had a large stamped image from the Circle Circus set in the center.















Below: Bookmarks (idea cased from Patty Bennett) featuring the In-Colors. I used the Circle Circus stamp set image to stamp directly onto the Whisper White computer generated bookmark panel with each of the NEW In-Colors. I cut a 1" square of each of the NEW In-Colors and adhered it to the bookmark panel. I laminated each one and used an In-Color ribbon on the top.



















Below: Bag Tags featuring the In-Colors. I used the Circle Circus set to stamp the image with each NEW In-Color ink onto Whisper White cardstock, then punched each image with the 3/4" Circle Punch. Each 1" square is cut from each NEW In-Color cardstock and both adhered to the computer generated panel. I used the oversized name badge pouches (purchased at Office Max) to put them in. I also used a piece of the In-Color Ribbons at the top.
