Friday Fun Day in Denver

Early wake up call, breakfast, and ready for the day!!! All before 10AM imagine that.  We had a busy day ahead so we didn't want to waste anytime.  Stamping, laughing and girl talk makes it so much more fun to stamp.

We were able to take a break and go for a walk over to the convention center to check things out. And to the 16th Street Pavillions to look through the shops.

We enjoyed the Manager's Reception at the hotel, then went out for a nice dinner.  Finally back to the Stampin' Studio a.k.a. hotel room to get down to some serious work. We got our jammies on, popped the cork on a bottle of wine and are ready to finish our swaps. We are so excited but we have to get some sleep tonight so can function tomorrow.

Be sure to check back tomorrow for the highlights from the Regional Event in Denver.

A Phone call from Holly at Stampin' Up!

Today I received a phone call from Holly Linford at Stampin' Up!....she asked me if I would be a Workshop WOW presenter at the Henderson, NV regionals on Friday, August 26th.

They are changing things up a bit for the demonstrator presenters, instead of being on stage in front of everyone to do your Workshop WOW presentation, you will be in one of the Demo Booths like they had at Convention. This means you would do the presentation several times.

I am so excited to be asked and of course I said YES! I am going to start creating my projects for my display board right away. I chose my topic to be VINTAGE. Check back when I get everything done and I will share with you my samples.

For today, I will share with you one of my swap cards that I made for swapping at the Regional Event. I will have 3 different designs to swap.
This card features the stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalog "On the Grow". I also used the "Artistic Etchings" Stamp Set from the Main Idea Book & Catalog.
Paper: Basic Gray, Basic Black, Baja Breeze, Very Vanilla, First Edition DSP
Ink: Basic Black;
Markers: Baja Breeze, Basic Gray, Daffodil Delight, River Rock, More Mustard, Always Artichoke
Other Accessories: Boho Blossoms Punch, Pewter Brads, Dimensionals

Okay I better go and get creating for my presentation. Thanks for stopping by.

San Antonio Bound

I am also attending the SCS dinner on Friday night. I will have so much to share when I get back, but I wanted to share two of my regional swaps with you before I go. Be sure to check back on Monday for the rest....I made 5 different ones!!

This card features a Scalloped Edge Medallion. I want to thank Alesha Walls, she shared this tutorial on SCS. I love to thread ribbon through it. Hint: I cut the basic black square 2-5/8".

SU! Regionals with Friends

Attending the SU! Regional Seminar in Anaheim was so much fun. Getting away with special friends for the weekend and for seeing friends face to face that you only communicate with via SCS online. It was a weekend for both. Here are some of the pictures that capture these moments.

Here we are at the Anaheim Convention Center. I am on the left, Jean is in the middle and Chat is on the right. We had a great time!

Here I am with my online friend Tandra, meeting face to face for the first time. We are looking forward to more SU! events so we can see each other again.
