Stampin Friends Birthday Bash Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin Friends January Blog Hop! This is our first hop of 2020. This month's theme is Birthday Bash.  If you are following along the hop, you have arrived from the blog of Anne Marie Hile.  Be sure to read through my blog post, comment below and continue along to the blog of Melissa Thomas.  If you happen to get lost along the way, you can find a list of the Blog Hoppers at the end of each blog.
Here are the projects I created for this month's hop featuring the Honey Bee Stamp Set, Detailed Bee Dies, and Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper.  All products used are from Stampin' Up! ©

Bit·O·Honey is the perfect candy for Bee projects.  I filled a small acetate box with the candies, and wrapped a 1-3/4" wide strip of Golden Honey Specialty DSP around the entire box and punched both ends with the Detailed Tag Topper Punch.  I finished it off with Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon and a tag.

I used Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends to color in the stamped flower images.  The bees are stamped in Memento Black Ink onto Whisper White Card Stock, cut out with the dies, colored with a Daffodil Delight Stampin' Marker.  Wink of Stella is brushed on the bee wings to add shimmer.  I used the honeycomb die to cut out the center portion of the card.

For this card, the hive is stamped in Daffodil Delight Ink onto Whisper White Card Stock, cut out using the die from the Detailed Bee Dies and placed on the card layer using Stampin' Dimensionals.  I used the Balmy Blue Stampin' Marker to color in the flowers on the DSP.

Happy Birthday Roxann!

Friday night we celebrated Roxann's 40th Birthday.  It was a great evening with many of her friends, her mom and aunt surprised her with a visit from California, and a delicious dinner at El Encanto Mexican Restaurant.

I made a few decorations for the party.

Here is the card I made for her.  I used the Sizzix Die, Serif Numbers, the saying from Happy Birthday Gorgeous and the DSP is Botanical Butterfly.
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you liked the custom birthday decor I made for Roxann!  Have a creative day!

Candy Holder Favors each holds a Ghirardelli chocolate
To create a small favor to give to each guest at your party, you can't go wrong with Ghirardelli Chocolates.  I cut the Party Animal DSP @ 2" x 6", Score along the long side at 2-7/8" & 3-1/8".  Punch both ends of this piece using the Tag Topper Punch.  Place glue dots on the back of the chocolate and place along the score line.  Fold up on both score lines, matching the ends. Wrap ribbon around the favor, thread it through both punched holes and tie a bow.  Stamp a greeting and add to front using a glue dot.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing the projects I created.  To help orient yourself, you are at Barbara Welch's Blog.  Simply click Raquelle Clifton's name on the list below and you will continue on the hop.

Happy Birthday Ryder!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYDER!!!

Today was Ryder's First Birthday. He is such a sweet little boy. My daughter, Kelsey, is his full-time nanny and I am the "other nanny". I step in when she has to leave for school a couple afternoons a week. We celebrated with him and his family this afternoon. He had 2 birthday outfits one for eating cake, and one for opening presents.

Birthday Banner for Ryder

I love making banners and this one is for a very special little boy.
I am very fortunate to be his nanny, he is so sweet and the best baby ever. Ryder is turning one on March 12th, so I made this banner for him. We will use it as part of the decorations for the party and then it can hang in his room.

Paper: Pacific Point, Bashful Blue, Real Red, Celebrations DSP
Accessories: Jumbo Eyelets, Crop-a-Dile, Natural Rope Twine (retired SU!), Big Shot, Pennant Die, Serif Alphabet Dies, Large Circle Dies, 1", 1-1/4" & 1-3/8" Circle Punches, Dimensionals

I hope you will be inspired to create a banner for someone special in your life.
