10 days until Christmas...

....and the fun continues. My Stampin' Up! downline group gathered at my home for a Christmas Lunch, Make & Take and Gift Exchange.  We had a great time and missed those that couldn't be with us.  Everyone brought a salad to share, and I provided the beverages and dessert.

I provided a Make & Take project for everyone, what would a Stampin' Up! gathering be without some stamping!  Thanks to Sandy Haynes for the adorable idea I received from her swap at convention in July.
Elves in a sleigh!!

The "Elf Kisses" fit right in the sleigh

For the gift exchange, we each made a gift for everyone that attended.  Here is the gift I exchanged.  The frame ornament has a hand stamped image inside instead of a photo.  Got the inspiration from Pinterest. In the cello bag, is a scented foaming soap and hand sanitizer from Bath & Body Works and a little packet of Christmas tissues.  All tied up with pretty ribbon.

I am so happy you stopped by today and I hope to see you back tomorrow for more of the countdown to Christmas.  Also on Thursday is the Stampin Friends Christmas Blog Hop where I will be a guest blogger.

Thankful Square Pillow Box

Today I want to show you one of the projects from our Downline ShoeBox Swap. This project was designed by Pam Hegarty.  I love the Gold Metallic Thread behind the acorn.  A nice touch don't you think? And she found this cute little candy pumpkin that fits in it just perfectly.

Gift Card Holder Make & Take Project

Who doesn't enjoy getting a gift card for Christmas?  Especially if it is handmade and as adorable as these.  I want to share with you the ones that I created for a Make & Take project for our Dazzling Divas Christmas Party.  They had a choice of Old Olive or Cherry Cobbler.

Here are the instructions if you want to make your own:

Cut base color card stock:  7 3/4" x 5"; Score on the long side at 2 1/2" & 6"
Cut DSP layers:  Top (I used Polka Dot) 2 1/4" x 4 3/4"
                          Bottom (I used Striped) 1 1/2" x 4 3/4"
White Card Stock on top inside:  2 1/4" x 4 3/4"
Cut DSP strip:  3/8" x 4 3/4"
Belly Band: 1" x 8 1/2"
Punches:  Decorative Label, Label Bracket and 2" Circle Framelit
Stamp Set:  Tags 4 You

Cut all pieces. Score and fold the largest piece.  Adhere DSP to outside of holder. Apply sticky strip to the inside edges of the smallest panel. (This is where the gift card will go). Adhere the white panel to the inside upper panel, then Stamp the "to" "from" and adhere the DSP strip to the bottom edge of the white panel.  Wrap the belly band around the holder and use sticky strip to close. Adhere stamped medallion to the belly band with Stampin' Dimensionals. Embellish with rhinestones and chalk marker.

Hope you enjoyed seeing our Make & Take project.

Dazzling Divas January Gathering

I was so excited to see the Dazzling Divas this month.  I have been so busy stamping and preparing for the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference next week, it was nice to enjoy the evening with my downline and adopted sidelines.

Diane provided the Make & Take for us this month.  It is a card tote that looks like a purse, has the adorable NEW Paper Doily Die, and the Mixed Bunch Stamp Set...both are in the NEW Occasions Mini Catalog that just started on January 4th.
