World Card Making Day 2008

I spent this past Saturday stamping and chatting with all the great gals on the SCS Challenge Forums for World Card Making Day. There were 7 challenges in all and they ran from 11am (EST) to 11pm (EST). So here in Phoenix that is 8am to 8 pm. A new challenge was posted every 2 hours. I completed all the challenges and even got some laundry done in between and a couple of quick errands. I hope you enjoy looking at my cards as much as I enjoyed creating them.

#4 - Ways to Use It Challenge
Show me your Tree...Use a tree of some kind on your card.

#5 - Try A New Technique
Make a hand made Nested Circle Flower as an embellishment for your card, using at least 5 circles of different sizes.

Use no DSP and no pastels

Tag Card - DTGD Yvette Challenge

One of the challenges that SCS offered during their 3rd Anniversary was tag cards. I love these cards and now that I am home from convention I have time to stamp and do challenges again.
My Tag Card was for Yvette's Tag Card Challenge. The Tag Card measures 9" x 5 1/2", and is scored at 3" and 6". The only rule was to use only one stamp set, and any sentiments used needed to be from that stamp set. I used the Garden Whimsy Stamp Set. The colors are Lavender Lace, Lovely Lilac, Groovy Guava & Whisper White. The small images of the snail, one of the ladybugs and the large butterfly in the center are cut out and dimensionals are added to make it pop off the paper.
