Tuesday in San Antonio

We woke up, had a nice breakfast and were ready to see some of the sights of San Antonio.  We walked along the Riverwalk which was so relaxing and absolutely gorgeous....flowers were in bloom, the sun was shining and the air was crisp.  We ended up at the Rivercenter Mall to do some shopping. While there we ran into Joyce Feraco...she is the sweetest lady.  She joined us in our shopping adventure and then we went to lunch along the Riverwalk at Casa Rio, a wonderful Mexican Restuarant and the food was delicious.

No stamping to share today, I really had a great day hanging out with my roomies and Joyce and her downline.  Tomorrow is Day 1 of the Leadership Conference, so it is an early wake-up call.  Hope you will come back to see what is happening.

Travel Day and More Swaps

Today I am on my way to San Antonio, TX for the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference.  I am looking forward to seeing my long-distance friends that I usually only get to see at Convention and Leadership.  I have made some great friendships while attending these events in past years.

I have created two designs for general swapping and hope to have time to get those finished on the plane or once I get to my hotel.  I have everything cut, stamped and ready to assemble.

Tea Shoppe Stamp Set and NEW Doily Die both are in the Occasions Mini Catalog which can be viewed HERE.

Stocking Die, Four Frames and Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Sets.
Thanks for stopping by today to see what I have created to take to Leadership for swapping.  I will have more to share once the event begins.  I hope to see you back here soon.

Dazzling Divas January Gathering

I was so excited to see the Dazzling Divas this month.  I have been so busy stamping and preparing for the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference next week, it was nice to enjoy the evening with my downline and adopted sidelines.

Diane provided the Make & Take for us this month.  It is a card tote that looks like a purse, has the adorable NEW Paper Doily Die, and the Mixed Bunch Stamp Set...both are in the NEW Occasions Mini Catalog that just started on January 4th.

Happy New Year!

Today is the first day of the new year, Welcome 2012.

I have not been posting very regularly this past year, hopefully I can do better this year. Sometime life gets in the way of things we want to do.

I am feeling so good now after having lost 62 pounds since June 1st.  It has a been a lifestyle change and takes much discipline, but it is well worth it.

I will be going back and posting some of the things I have wanted to show you over the past several months.

I am going to do a little blog construction, so stay tuned for a new look for the new year and some blog candy as well.

A Phone call from Holly at Stampin' Up!

Today I received a phone call from Holly Linford at Stampin' Up!....she asked me if I would be a Workshop WOW presenter at the Henderson, NV regionals on Friday, August 26th.

They are changing things up a bit for the demonstrator presenters, instead of being on stage in front of everyone to do your Workshop WOW presentation, you will be in one of the Demo Booths like they had at Convention. This means you would do the presentation several times.

I am so excited to be asked and of course I said YES! I am going to start creating my projects for my display board right away. I chose my topic to be VINTAGE. Check back when I get everything done and I will share with you my samples.

For today, I will share with you one of my swap cards that I made for swapping at the Regional Event. I will have 3 different designs to swap.
This card features the stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalog "On the Grow". I also used the "Artistic Etchings" Stamp Set from the Main Idea Book & Catalog.
Paper: Basic Gray, Basic Black, Baja Breeze, Very Vanilla, First Edition DSP
Ink: Basic Black;
Markers: Baja Breeze, Basic Gray, Daffodil Delight, River Rock, More Mustard, Always Artichoke
Other Accessories: Boho Blossoms Punch, Pewter Brads, Dimensionals

Okay I better go and get creating for my presentation. Thanks for stopping by.

Dazzling Divas August 2011

The Stampin' Up! new year for the Dazzling Divas began with the August meeting. After convention, I did some restructuring of the group. The Dazzling Divas meetings are exclusive for the downline of Barbara Welch, Levels 1 - 5 are invited.

We met at the home of Barbara Welch on Thursday, August 11th. There was laughter, delicious food and stamping of make & takes. Swapping is always a high point of the evening.

Card Make & Take provided by Vicki McClelland:

3-D Project Make & Take provided by Pam Hegarty:
Pam showed us how to take 2 milk carton die cuts and make this adorable octagon box. She was inspired from a class we took at convention in July.

I had a special surprise for everyone; I made altered File Folder Note Pads for taking notes at the meetings. There were 4 different designs that they could choose from. I had all the pieces cut and they chose what they wanted to finish it. Here is mine:
Inside of the Altered File Folder Note Pad:

Our swap theme for this month was a full card featuring a Fun or Fancy Fold. I want to share with your the cards that were swapped:
