Leadership 2013 - Part 1

It is so exciting attend a Stampin' Up! event.  This year we were in Orlando, FL for the Leadership Conference.  Here are some of the highlights of Registration Day:
We did not get an official Leadership bag this year.  We were told to bring one from a past Leadership event.  I chose to carry the bag from my first Leadership Conference.  Laura made the most beautiful pin for me.

It has become a tradition to decorate your name tag.

Ruffle Tote Bag Roomie Gifts

Would you like to see what I made for my roommates?  Because we weren't getting an official Leadership Bag, I decided to make us one. So I made one for myself, Laura and Melissa.  Everyone was asking us to pose for pictures with our bags, they were a true hit.

I used the New Stampin' Up! More Amore Fabric to make the ruffle trim.  It took one package per tote bag, the more ruffles the better!Laura designed and made the flower to embellish our bags as her gift.  We were in this together.

I have so much more to share, so check back.  I look forward to reading your positive comments!

Friday Fun Day in Denver

Early wake up call, breakfast, and ready for the day!!! All before 10AM imagine that.  We had a busy day ahead so we didn't want to waste anytime.  Stamping, laughing and girl talk makes it so much more fun to stamp.

We were able to take a break and go for a walk over to the convention center to check things out. And to the 16th Street Pavillions to look through the shops.

We enjoyed the Manager's Reception at the hotel, then went out for a nice dinner.  Finally back to the Stampin' Studio a.k.a. hotel room to get down to some serious work. We got our jammies on, popped the cork on a bottle of wine and are ready to finish our swaps. We are so excited but we have to get some sleep tonight so can function tomorrow.

Be sure to check back tomorrow for the highlights from the Regional Event in Denver.

Stamping...laughing...staying up late...

We had a wonderful dinner and fun shopping at the local Cherry Creek Mall. We came back to our room and transformed the sitting area with desk and TV into our Stampin' Studio.  Since Laura drove from Kansas, she brought everything we would need to finish our swaps.  So we set up and got started, it was almost midnight, but we said we would work for just an hour or so.....right!! it is now 2:00 AM and we are deciding that we should go call it a day and get some sleep.

My awesome friend and roomie Laura

I will be back tomorrow to show you what we are working on for swapping at the regionals.

This will be our home away from home for the next few days.  This hotel is gorgeous, the staff seems very attentive and they have a manager's reception every evening and a full hot breakfast each morning.

Well, we are going to dinner and then spending the rest of the evening shopping.

My Convention Swaps - Part 1

I love everything about a Stampin' Up! Convention.  I have been a demonstrator for 13 years and this year was the 11th convention I had attended.  I look forward to seeing friends that I have made throughout the years and to make new friends as well.  A highlight for me each year is SWAPPING!!!!  I started working on my swaps in May, I held weekly Convention Work Days in my home that my downline and friends could come over and we would work for hours getting our swaps done.  Each week it was good to see the progress everyone was making.

Today I thought I would show you what I designed to swap at Convention. Ready to take a look at Part 1:
