Want to see somethin' NEW...

...then wait no longer. I am not able to show you the actual items in the catalog, but I can show you a stamped sample I made using a new set that will be available on July 1, 2009 when the NEW Stampin' Up! catalog is released.

I used the NEW Razzle Dazzle Set for the stamping on all my samples. Each NEW In Color ink is stamped on Whisper White then layered onto the In Color cardstock. The In Color Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon is across the center. I used two of SU! core colors that compliment the In Color. I punched the circles using the 1-3/8" Circle Punch. I also stamped the middle circle using the In Color for a Tone on Tone look.

No time to Stamp it is Dance Recital Week

I have been a part of this dance studio since my daughter joined in 1997....and this is her last year. Every year in June we put on a professional dance recital for all the dancers and their families. It is a way to show the parents what the students have worked for all year. I am in charge of backstage and getting the dancers from the dressing rooms to the stage to perform their dance numbers. I love working with all the children and have wonderful friends that help out to make the show run smooth. Here are a couple pictures of us this week. We are known as the "Pink Ladies", you can easily find us in a crowd with these hot pink shirts on!!

Technical Rehearsal Days

Here I have on my official recital uniform. I call each dance number in the auditorium for tech rehearsal.

Recital Staff ready to start the show.

Terri, Nancy and Me!

So now you know why I have not been posting anything this week. Thanks for being patient and come back tomorrow for a sneak peek of the NEW In-Colors.

A Hand-stamped Graduation....

Kelsey graduated on Wednesday, May 27th from Pinnacle High School. We had an Open House Celebration on Saturday, May 30th. Then went to a local resort for a few days to relax.
As promised last week, I want to share the many items I made for Kelsey's graduation and open house celebration. Today I will show you the invitations and party favors that we made.

First, the enclosure invitation that was sent with the graduation announcements.

I typed the wording on the computer and printed it onto Whisper White cardstock. The images are from a retired SU! set - Tassle Time & Sketch an Event.
Paper: Rose Red, Night of Navy, Whisper White
Ink: Night of Navy
Access: Red Stickles

Kelsey wanted the other invitation to have pink on it. So here is the invitation we sent out for the Open House. This one was sent to her friends and families that did not get the actual graduation announcement.

I typed the wording on the computer and printed it onto Whisper White cardstock. It included a senior picture and a senior name card.
Stamps: Celebrate Everything, Polka Dot
Paper: Pink Pirouette, Night of Navy, Whisper White
Ink: Pretty in Pink, Night of Navy
Access: Navy Organdy Ribbon (retired SU!), Dimensionals, Paper Snips, Blue Stickles

We made these favors as a way to say thank you to each person that came to the Graduation Open House. These adorable matchboxes had chocolates inside and a message about the graduate.

here it is open:

Stamps: Retired SU!
Paper: Whisper White, Night of Navy, Pink Pirouette
Ink: White Craft Ink, Night of Navy
Access: White Brads, 1/16" Hole Punch, Dimensionals, Paper Snips, Big Shot, Matchbox Die, Sticky Strip
