Global Stamping Friends Extraordinary Hop

Welcome to the Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop. Our theme for this hop is Extraordinary New Product.  I attended OnStage Las Vegas last week and lucky to win the Breathtaking Bouquet Background from Prize Patrol. In my product premiere order I purchased the Peaceful Poppies Suite.  I used the sentiment from the Peaceful  Moments Stamp Set.
I stamped the background stamp with Memento Black Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock. I used the Layering Circle Dies to cut out a portion of the stamped image, and to cut a circle from Rococo Rose Cardstock to create a "spotlight", then added to the card lining up the image from where it was cut using Stampin' Dimensionals.  I used the Rococo Rose, Petal Pink, Old Olive & Pool Party Stampin' Blends to color in the image that I cut out. The base card is Rococo Rose, next layer is Gray Granite, then the stamped layer. Rococo Rose 1/2" Scalloped Linen Ribbon, Linen Thread, Perennial Essence Floral Centers were added to complete the card.

I hope you have enjoyed my take on this month's theme and I know you will want to continue on through the hop to see what others have shared.  Your next stop is Angélique Stempelkeuken, just click on the arrow below and you will be on your way.

Stampin Friends Christmas Holiday Blog Hop

Welcome to the November Stampin Friends Blog Hop.  I am happy that you are joining us.  This month our theme is Christmas/Holiday.  We are each sharing cards and projects to inspire your creativity.  Whether you are arriving from Ellen Woodbridge's blog and her beautiful projects or just starting out here, you are sure to be inspired.

Let's get right to my projects.  All of the stamped images I used are from Stampin' Up!© and can be found in the 2019 Holiday Catalog or the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog!
I made a card and a home decor project featuring the Wrapped in Plaid DSP to share with you today.

Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce are the colors I used to create the card.  A touch of Gold Foil Paper behind the plaid DSP adds the perfect finishing touch.

I purchased the "JOY" unfinished wood letters as a set at Hobby Lobby.  I used the Wrapped in Plaid DSP to cover each letter, added a wreath to the star made from the Sprig Punch.  I sponged ink around the edges of each and added embellishments; Jingle Bells, Shaded Spruce and Cherry Cobbler Striped Ribbons, Trees stamped and punched from the Perfect Plaid Stamp Set and Tree Punch make this complete.

The Seasonal Layers Dies were used to cut out the leaves.  The colors I used are Soft Suede, Cajun Craze, Old Olive, Crumb Cake, Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron, Whisper White. A Linen Thread bow is the perfect final touch.

Harvest Hellos Sneak Peek

Did you like the card I showed yesterday from the Harvest Hellos set?  Today I am showing you 2 more samples using that set and the coordinating punch.
For this card I used Granny Apple Green, Soft Sea Foam, Lovely Lipstick and Whisper White Cardstock.  The Basketweave 3D Embossing Folder was used on the Soft Sea Foam layer.  I stamped the apple with Garden Green Ink onto Granny Apple Green Cardstock and used the Apple Builder Punch.  One punch for the apple, stem and leaf all at once....this is awesome.  I used the Light So Saffron Stampin' Blends to wash across the bottom of the Whisper White. The ribbons are layered under the center panel, I used the Granny Apple Green striped, White Flax and Linen Thread.

For this card I used Pumpkin Pie, Soft Suede, Granny Apple Green, Crumb Cake and Whisper White Cardstock.  I used the Buffalo Check Stamp to create the background on the Crumb Cake layer.  The Subtle 3D Embossing Folder was used on the Soft Suede and Whisper White Layers. I stamped the pumpkin image with Cajun Craze Ink onto Pumpkin Pie cardstock, stamped the stem with Crumb Cake Ink on Crumb Cake cardstock. Both images were punched and used Stampin' Dimensionals to pop up the images.  I used Linen Thread around the stem for the bow and 3 Glitter Enamel Dots to the left side of the card.

Sneak Peek at Harvest Hellos

Today, I am showing you a sneak peek at Harvest Hellos. I couldn't wait to play with this new set and coordinating punch, that will be coming in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog on Sept. 4th.

I am in love with this set. Here is one of the cards I created.
I used Cherry Cobbler Cardstock as the base, layered with So Saffron, Regals DSP Pack, Garden Green and Whisper White.  Stamped the Apple with Cherry Cobbler Ink, colored it in with the Stampin' Blends Light Cherry Cobbler.  I used the Light So Saffron Stampin' Blends on the Slice of Apple. The saying is stamped in Garden Green Ink, layered onto Garden Green Cardstock and a piece of the new Garden Green Striped Ribbon adds a touch of detail.  I used the Clear Epoxy Droplets in the bottom right corner to balance the design.

Check back tomorrow for another card created with this set.
