HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYDER!!!

Today was Ryder's First Birthday. He is such a sweet little boy. My daughter, Kelsey, is his full-time nanny and I am the "other nanny". I step in when she has to leave for school a couple afternoons a week. We celebrated with him and his family this afternoon. He had 2 birthday outfits one for eating cake, and one for opening presents.

Dazzling Divas Swap

It is time for the Dazzling Divas to get together for our March meeting. The swap theme for this month is "Anything Goes with a Spring/Easter Theme". I love Spring and the colors associated with it always make me smile.

Here is what I created to swap with each of the gals tonight. A watering can filled with flowers, what better way to say "Hello Spring"! I made the largest flowers in three colors Poppy Parade, Peach Parfait, Daffodil Delight. They are mounted onto Wilton lollipop sticks with hot glue.

Birthday Banner for Ryder

I love making banners and this one is for a very special little boy.
I am very fortunate to be his nanny, he is so sweet and the best baby ever. Ryder is turning one on March 12th, so I made this banner for him. We will use it as part of the decorations for the party and then it can hang in his room.

February Dazzling Divas Gathering

MAKE & TAKES ARE A HIT!
I am going to back up a bit to show you the Make & Takes from our Dazzling Divas gathering for February. We met at my home on Thursday, February 10th and after a delicious dinner we settled in for some stamping time.

First we made a 3-D project that I designed. I used the petal cone die and adjusted the bottom portion to make it into a box.

In Color Fun Flowers

I have been absent from blogging for a couple weeks, funny how life has a way of taking over your time. Today I want to share some of the things I have been working on.

I love the Level 1 Hostess In Color DSP Patterns Pack and have been thinking about some different things to do with these papers. I decided to make some FUN FLOWER EMBELLISHMENTS!!!!

No stamping involved; I used the Big Shot and The Fun Flowers Die, DSP Patterns In Color Pack (hostess Level 1), Vintage Brads, In Color Ribbons, Chantilly Crochet Lace, In Colors Cardstock (where needed).
Each flower is 6 layers (2 of each flower size), crunched each one in my hand, carefully unfolded each one and assembled them together with ribbon in the middle and a Vintage Brad. They are so fun to make!!

Leadership 2011

Check In day at the Gaylord Opryland Resort, this was a beautiful venue for Leadership.


Walking around the Gaylord, Laura and I find our friend Jan!


Gift for each of my roomies!!and a few special friends.

I put together this Leadership goodie bag! Warm, comfy socks, lip gloss, anti-bac gel and holder, tin of mints, and gloves which feature a Candy Cane Fabric embellishment cut using the Big Shot and the Circle Dies and a Candy Cane Button in the center..... they came in handy since it was sooo cold there in Nashville.
