Problem Solved......

Curious to see what the problem was and how I solved it?
When Stampin' Up! released the NEW Blendabilities Markers on May 1st, I couldn't wait to get the sets that are available now for demonstrators.  So when my order arrived, I took the markers out of the box and up to my studio.  Everything in my studio has a place and is neatly organized. Here was the problem....the NEW Blendabilities did not fit into the current marker box. As with our other markers, these also need to lay on their side.  So today I set out to find a storage solution that would fit in with the other storage decor in my studio.
 VOILA!!! The Perfect Marker Storage Station.

Each tall rectangular space will hold 5 sets of 3 markers

 

Narrow shelves hold 3 sets of markers and Color Lifter

I placed the Many Marvelous Marker Set on top of the cube

Here is the packaging from the mini cube a.k.a.- Marker Storage Solution, I purchased at Michaels.

(They do not come coil bound....I have already taken mine to be coil bound and cover laminated.  Still need to add side tabs.)

2014 Catalog Premiere Downline Gifts

I am so excited today is the day...Stampin' Up! is having a Catalog Premiere to unveil the NEW 2014-2015 Annual Catalog to demonstrators in 40 different cities across the US.  Our local event is being held in Mesa, AZ and I will be enjoying the evening with 250+ demonstrators.

February Paper Pumpkin has arrived!

Oh, Hello Swap Card

I attended the Spring Fest Stamping Event today, Diana Gibbs and Rhonda Morgan outdid themselves planning and preparing an awesome event.   I went with my friend, Linda Rodenberg.  We had some much needed girlfriend time and stamping therapy!
We each received this bag filled with all of the materials to complete 22 projects.

Burlap and Blooms for SPRING

Today I wanted and needed to spend some time in my studio being creative.   Stampin' Up! now has the Burlap and Blooms Simply Created Wreath Kit, I was able to complete this wreath in about 1-1/2 hours.  Ta-da....I love it and it reminds me of a happy Spring day. Everything is included in the kit except for scissors and adhesives.

The colors are Daffodil Delight, Smoky Slate, Soft Sky and Tangerine Tango.  I love all these colors together.  I will be hosting a class soon and you can make one of these for your door to welcome Spring!

Rest in Peace Dave

Today we said our final goodbyes to my brother-in-law, David C. Welch, D.O.  He passed away suddenly on Sunday, Feb. 2nd.  Dave was Paul's older brother and was loved by so many people.  

Last night we had the visitation, with well over 200 people paying their respects to him at the mortuary. Today was his Funeral, Burial and Celebration of Life reception.

February Dazzling Divas Make & Take

It was my turn to provide the Make & Take project for our meeting this month.  I was inspired by the ideas I saw at the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference last month. 

The Spiral Flower Lollipops are so fun to make and very easy using the new Spiral Flower Big Shot Die from the Occasions Catalog.  I put out several packs of paper and let the gals choose what papers they wanted to use.  The ones I am showing above are made from retired Stampin' Up! DSP.  I used a mechanical pencil to roll the paper around and glue dots to adhere the pieces together.  Punch two leaves using the bird punch. Stamp banner with Early Espresso Classic Ink and using the Itty Bitty Banners Stamp Set.
