A Phone call from Holly at Stampin' Up!
Today I received a phone call from Holly Linford at Stampin' Up!....she asked me if I would be a Workshop WOW presenter at the Henderson, NV regionals on Friday, August 26th.
They are changing things up a bit for the demonstrator presenters, instead of being on stage in front of everyone to do your Workshop WOW presentation, you will be in one of the Demo Booths like they had at Convention. This means you would do the presentation several times.
I am so excited to be asked and of course I said YES! I am going to start creating my projects for my display board right away. I chose my topic to be VINTAGE. Check back when I get everything done and I will share with you my samples.
For today, I will share with you one of my swap cards that I made for swapping at the Regional Event. I will have 3 different designs to swap.
This card features the stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalog "On the Grow". I also used the "Artistic Etchings" Stamp Set from the Main Idea Book & Catalog.
Paper: Basic Gray, Basic Black, Baja Breeze, Very Vanilla, First Edition DSP
Ink: Basic Black;
Markers: Baja Breeze, Basic Gray, Daffodil Delight, River Rock, More Mustard, Always Artichoke
Other Accessories: Boho Blossoms Punch, Pewter Brads, Dimensionals
Okay I better go and get creating for my presentation. Thanks for stopping by.

Dazzling Divas August 2011
The Stampin' Up! new year for the Dazzling Divas began with the August meeting. After convention, I did some restructuring of the group. The Dazzling Divas meetings are exclusive for the downline of Barbara Welch, Levels 1 - 5 are invited.
We met at the home of Barbara Welch on Thursday, August 11th. There was laughter, delicious food and stamping of make & takes. Swapping is always a high point of the evening.
Card Make & Take provided by Vicki McClelland:
3-D Project Make & Take provided by Pam Hegarty:
Pam showed us how to take 2 milk carton die cuts and make this adorable octagon box. She was inspired from a class we took at convention in July.
I had a special surprise for everyone; I made altered File Folder Note Pads for taking notes at the meetings. There were 4 different designs that they could choose from. I had all the pieces cut and they chose what they wanted to finish it. Here is mine:

Our swap theme for this month was a full card featuring a Fun or Fancy Fold. I want to share with your the cards that were swapped:
